Just to be clear, this is mostly me fooling around with my grid distortion code because it looked cool. Was never trying to show anything physical here.
i meant to ask, are the ratios of the ticks on the clocks and the spacetime warping consistent with the EFEs?

Nope, it's intended to be conceptual as the actual numbers ended up being useless. If you look closely, the frequencies are integer multiples of the corner clocks. This is so the animation loops perfectly after a certain number of frames.
