Eh a little...this is first order though so it should be simpler presumably. If f(x) = mx+n then b = -n/m and "a" can be anything I believe (this is really easy to see now that I think about it geometrically)
oh yea oops .. yea i was just kind of trying to work backwards and see if there was any way i could figure anything about the function
