@litgenstein @InertialObservr is there anyway you guys could make an interactive dampened sawtooth curve?

I will totally pay you. It is for my AP Physics children to help them learn how to model!!

so you want a sawtooth curve but how exactly do you want it damped?

OK so, I would describe myself as a math practitioner but complete coding idiot. So I can either describe the damping function or provide general parameters? Not sure exactly what you are looking for.

general parameters would be nice

I'm looking generally to apply a damped harmonic oscillator model to a sawtooth curve, where ideally I could switch the damping ratio or the Q factor.

I see, so like just an RLC circuit with a sawtooth forcing function?

Yes, I think so!!! Would I be able to set like critically damped vs. under. vs over in that?

sure thing! the RLC circuit has a general solution which is really nice and easy to work with
