Treating elections as a joke is one of the reaosns why young people have low voter turnout. It may not be the primary or secondary reason, but it is grounds for some reconsideration. Maybe lay off the election jokes and some of your followers might not consider elections a joke
I don’t see how the counterfactual is any more productive. Have you never cracked a joke at trump or partaken in política humor? Just because consequences are important, doesn’t mean one can’t have a laugh.. and I highly doubt it’s having any affect on the outcome
