I learned a bit here, but I'm curious why you chose the points to be spheres in a narrow 3D box, which then requires you to specify the viewpoint. Why not do it in 2D with actual points (with PointSize[ ] to resize). Seems like it would be simpler. Thanks for the video.

because the 2D points don't reflect any light and it just looks prettier when you have a spherical shading from a light source
