In this plot, the initial state is a "minimum uncertainty wave packet" (Gaussian wave-packet), and the time is close to t=0 This is for a particle moving in 1D, and i have plotted the real & imaginary parts of the wave function and the position axis runs left-to-right
might be worth noting that this is for a particle in a single dimension, or a one dimensional cross section. the visualization (using "spatial" dimensions to represent the complex plane) makes this somewhat non-obvious
