I notice you don't dispute that nothing "flat" exists, on any scale.
if you're going to say nothing is truly mathematically flat, then fine.. I can see how fractals tie in loosely (very loosely) because by definition they have ill defined boundaries, though i don't see what that has to do with water droplets or atoms (neither of which are fractal)

Viewed from Earth, Mars is just as "non-fractal" as a water droplet. But both are, in fact, fractal, and not just mathematically. Where is the boundary of an atom? At imaginary location of a shell containing at least one electron? At its nucleus?
