I think a point-density-based/cloud-like representation with color added is an under-utilized 3D visualization tool. It always makes me sad to collapse data that’s really 3D to some “simpler” rep. I do it for my 3D data, rather than plotting 2D contoured slices (with yt)pic.twitter.com/9J0Hy0fc2E
