Pringles are engineered. The goal is not to get all whiz bang The goal is to simply and cheaply make a functional product Pringles solved this one. Not magic. Not going to give any math guy an orgasm. But it works perfectly.

There is no evidence that your shape even works. Looks very odd to me. Obviously completely impractical to manufacture. I thought I pointed that out -- Pringles are made in a clever, simple way. Not sexy, but highly functional.
