Before Newton invented his 1st law, objects in motion would just randomly speed up. This explains the expansion of the universe & Dark Energy. Not many are aware of this.

Actually if time and space translation symmetry were violated in the early universe wouldn't this also cause violation of conservation of energy and momentum?
