      The uncertainty principle just comes from the fact that the Fourier transform of a localized function is spread out and vice versa. Not sure how your point follows from that.

      If you confine a particle to go through a tiny slit, the more spread you will have in the momentum distribution. Take a photon, as it goes through the slit you will precisely where it is but you won't know the direction it is headed (i.e. it's instantaneous momentum vector)

      Ok, i think the confusion comes from particle-wave dualism. I would agree to “there is no particle with position x and momentum p” since a particle is also a wave which has no position.
