      I share many of these sentiments.. As a frustrated particle theory PhD student, I wish we could just take a break from churning out papers on EFTs for dark matter and just collect our thoughts for a second

      Sorry, but cosmology (not to be confused with physics) is more like religion than science. Just be glad they got stuck on dark matter explaining the unexplained rather than gnomes.

      Very sound... everything observed since some decades is a surprise and results in some fairydust being added to the paradigm: dark matter, dark energy. Then billions are spend on finding this fairydust. Lol.

      Are you purposing dark matter and dark energy are just statistical anomalies or what? lmao Particle theorists and cosmologists have the best tools for solving these problems.. unless you have something else in mind?

      This is exactly what is wrong with science. No it is indeed not observed directly, only “indirectly” because the standard gravity only models cannot otherwise explain what is directly observed! Like the speed of the outer stars of the galaxy. Hint: the model might be wrong!

      we know the model is wrong ? what the hell do you think we're doing this whole time ? literally the entire field of particle physics is currently devoted to developing models of dark matter .. we have tried modifying the EFEs .. you strike me as someone who has done 0 research

          No such particles have yet been detected. Is there credible evidence to support that theory? Other than its existence is predicted by an extension of quantum chromodynamics?
