"They do not think about which hypotheses are promising". It's straw man bullshit and bitterness maintaining the "outsider" brand. I am sorry but this hurts us all and is not helpful.

So: physicists are sheep, we never think for ourselves about what we do and why. Really??? The only vaguely constructive suggestion is to talk to philosophers. What did I miss?

The way she's going about it is problematic to the community. I've seen laypeople that now think of theoretical physicists as aestheticians because of Hossenfelder's "beauty" jargon. Naturalness is bayesian statistics, not a physicists turned metaphysician. (I<3metaphysics, tho)
