#datascience twitter I could really use some help. I am taking a class that requires @anacondainc to be able to work in python 2.7 and python 3.7. I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled Anaconda a couple of time.

When I check the version of python in my virtual environments with $ python -V in the terminal it always comes back 2.7.17 regardless of the version I told it to use when creating the environment.

you have to run conda activate <name of virtualenv> then running python --version should give you the one you want
