that's the whole thing .. he's using observe to exactly parallel a conscious entity looking .. if you look at his responses in the thread you'll see what i mean

What if "observe" as humans do it is a special class of interactions that all objects do to a degree, ie his analogy holds except that in video games only the player character has the ability to "observe".
