Isn't this actually the standard interpretation of QM though? Until you observe it, a particle is in a superposition of states. He seems to be not incorrect. (The meaning of "observe" has not yet been agreed upon, as I understand it.)
that's the whole thing .. he's using observe to exactly parallel a conscious entity looking .. if you look at his responses in the thread you'll see what i mean
