I imagining the scene as follow: The man open the box not knowing if we will get the desired resultand suddenly all quantum physics burst upon him. The Schrödinger equation, Planck's constant, path integrals, entangled states, quantized energy levels...

I think of him stringing a bunch of physics gear together then BLAMMO millions of Schrodinger’s Cats fly out of the apparatus as the wave function collapses. Naturally the cats start a house fire because thry knocked over the Xmas tree which catches on fire.
