While there’s no evidence of Feynman discriminating against womens’ intellectual abilities, he did in fact make many predatory advances on them. What the term ‘sexist’ encapsulates i leave to you, but that’s why I deleted the tweet.https://thebaffler.com/outbursts/surely-youre-a-creep-mr-feynman-mcneill …

For context, the original tweet was a motivational quote by Feynman. There was no physics content. Motivational quotes imply that the author's character is something to be looked up to.

Are we going to change the name of Feynman diagrams to something else? Are we going to erase QED? Burn his lectures? a friend of mine was his girlfriend for a while and she loved him. It’s more complicated then let’s erase this person and everything he did for fucks sake.

I never claimed we should erase his scientific achievements or erase him as a person. Feynman was brilliant and made brilliant discoveries of things that rightfully bear his name.

Come on, bro, you’re reaching. Why? I don’t know. Possibly to avoid hurting people’s feelings which is nice but unnecessary. Feynman wasn’t a sexist. He loved women and helped many women get into STEM fields (including his sister).

If your going to go down that road, you've probably got a lot more tweets to delete than just Feynman. Every human is flawed, some were just well documented.
