Does it make sense to say that the processes represented by Feynman diagrams and path integrals (like beta decay) are “real?” If you want to say in what sense they are or are not real, please respond!

Yes, I think the connection between the equivalencies is a bit more subtle than that. It's important to remember a model is a model. My perspective here is to step away from human prejudices as much as possible. An unbiased nature just seems more "real" to me in that way.
