i'm also cleaning my apartment at the moment so i don't know why i'm trying to start conversation
-
Maybe that's why! 2+1-dimensional quantum gravity is one of the few theories of quantum gravity where you can work out everything analytically in closed form. Not like 3+1, but lots of fun!

You seen Suskind's paper claiming that you can mathematically (and physically) analogise wormholes and entanglement?
-
This is the paper: J. Maldacena and L. Susskind, Cool horizons for entangled black holes, https://arxiv.org/abs/1306.0533 That's the paper that inspired my paper with Vicary, where we studied this idea more rigorously in 2+1-dimensional gravity.
