They are .. I was referring to the animation side of it .. writing something that stretched and squished in proportion etc .. my first attempt was in 3D .. What I’m saying is that the physics was easy but the animation was annoying

The F=-kr gets you the position of the bobs but doesn’t write the spring animation for you!

Maybe libraries like Bullet Physics https://github.com/bulletphysics/bullet … (C++) or https://github.com/kripken/ammo.js/ … (JS) could help? They can be used with OpenGL and
