Omg. I have so many questions!!! First off, what’s all the extra shit?! And why in the generalized form of this equation is errthang cut in half? I don’t know names yet, forgive my n00b: but there’s one for quantity of heat or some shit, and others that look EXACTLY LIKE THIS

Series explain in many phenomena. Can see that v<<<<<<c for commonly found or massive objects and for those minute objects like photons etc whose v approaches c, the m is negligible. Thus 2nd term onwards, the correction is useful only for those with v~c, and decent 'm'.

Why is space-time so hard to bend? It's REALLY rigid for something that is supposed to be mostly nothing...

Good question! If less rigid, gravity gradient would be too strong even on small planets like Earth. If much more rigid, the Earth might not hold itself together. That "nothing" might still contain a LOT of potential energy.
