Do we have numerical programs which can compute the function to a workable accuracy ? The function has a very big derivative. Small errors in z shall cause big changes in f(z). Hence the question.

Probably you are calculating in a very small neighborhood of z=1 ? The figure is very beautiful by the way :-)
