I was able to create this tweet in about an hour; I think explaining it all using gifs would take me much longer. That's why in my Visual Insight blog I had friends create images and gifs: https://blogs.ams.org/visualinsight/ I think that's the best solution.

Yep, making animations can easily become a very time-consuming activity. Mostly because you are having so much fun that you don't realize how much time you are sinking into it
