What kind of maff is this? This looks like the maps the grid cell guys make when they claim Kant was right. I never read him but they reference him in their abstracts.

I don’t understand enough to even ask my question right. How does a grid get defined? And is it a function that takes a grid and then makes another one but offset by blah? I know zero mathematics.

A grid is just a set of x,y points .. so you just apply a rotation matrix to all those points
