      Maybe I'm a tool for saying this, but isn't part of the beauty bcs they find repeated application throughout the natural world? Natural growth, spirals, efficient patterns & packing? Any correlation with the fact that we find such a relatively dense cluster of primes there, too?

      * thereabouts ie < 10. Maybe there are other interesting numbers lurking near other clusters of primes (maybe within the digits of pi etc itself).

          Ok - I see now & had not considered. The earlier examples are clustered around normal human perception & ability to measure unaided, hence bias. Do the latter constants 'pop up' in odd/unexpected places (asking out of ignorance)?
