The wheels are shortened by length contraction, but since the light hitting your eye from different parts of the wheel left at different times, the object you 𝑠𝑒𝑒 appears rotated & deformed

that's a good question! i think so! they used a ray tracing software that ought to take that into account so I believe so

given 90% the speed of light am I correct in thinking that one would need to have a superhuman frame rate of ~2.7 x 10^8 fps to capture the wheels motion at this level of resolution?
