Love it. How did you find an initial position/momentum for the blue body that lead to such interesting/nearly repeating orbits? Subjective and vague question, but do most initial conditions lead to interesting dynamics given the relative masses of the three bodies here?

Could there be planets with funky orbits like this in a real binary star system or would they decay?

these orbits could really exist .. they are just mostly extremely unstable
