A real part and a part that squares to infinity... any chance this number system is a long lost cousin of the complex, split complex, and dual numbers? It would be very pretty to have √∞ join i, j, and ε on the real projective line. We could call it the circle of squares!

Conformal GA adds two units that it says represent points at 0 and ∞. These directions are diagonals between orthogonal directions that square to 1 and -1. We might relate these to ε and 1/ε. Interestingly both square to zero. Maybe justifies discarding factors of ∞²?
