Should the label be sin(n x)?

nope!

What is the horizontal axis? The title says “n=“ and specifies a constant. The vertical axis, labeled “sin(n)” should, then, be a constant. I’m confused.

i see.. yea the horizontal axis is n .. the label at the top should really say n_{max}

let me check it out .. what do you mean by "various"?

Don’t do 3-D. Crank up the number of points, and don’t confine yourself to -1<x<1, etc.
