In Quantum Mechanics a particle's position 𝑥 is treated as a random variable whose PDF is Ψ*Ψ, where Ψ(x) is the wave function of the particle.

I still don't understand why it makes sense that the wavefunction squared is the probability of finding the particle in a position (i.e Born interpretation I think)?
