those are great reasons to hope for SUSY to exist, great dark matter candidate, great explanations of so-called fine-tuning of the Higgs mass.

But there are other reasons to think of SUSY as a natural extension of the SM, and plenty of orders of magnitude in energy for it to be broken totally independent of the EW scale.

what are the best reasons motivating the existence of supersymmetry? let's make a list:

      1. Supersymmetry is the unique extension of the Poincare Algebra, related to the Haag–Łopuszański–Sohnius theorem, and Deligne’s theorem.https://www.physicsforums.com/insights/supersymmetry-delignes-theorem/ …

      2. Unification of the forces into a common gauge group approximately works with supersymmetry based on empirical measurements of the running of the couplings with energy. Gauge unification is ruled out without SUSY or something else. https://arxiv.org/abs/hep-ph/9709356 …pic.twitter.com/wpG3REw39D

      3. WIMP dark matter reason: If there is R-parity conservation or another way to have a stable supersymmetric particle, it could be what makes up dark matter as a Weakling Interacting Massive Particle (WIMP).

      4. Electroweak naturalness reason: supersymmetry introduces a canceling of terms in the renormalized Higgs mass, helping avoid fine-tuning of the Higgs mass. Otherwise it is very confusing why the Higgs mass has as low of a mass as it does.

Basically my POV is that motivations 3 and 4 for SUSY have been been empirically disfavored, but 1 and 2 are my favorites prior to even looking at the data.

We are at the bottom of a very deep energy well debating hyper-energetic degrees of freedom with huge ranges of possibility.
