Does anyone actually care about reconciling quantum physics with general relativity? ToE?
Where are my theorists at??! I feel like it's just me.
Key words: Quantum gravity, supersymmetry, string theory, supergravity, black holes.

Any true quantum theory of gravity needs to explain the nature of time. Maybe casual set theory helps with that...tough to say. I feel like we're missing things. Maybe even new discoveries that need to happen.

I think the nature of time is a massive one. Maybe we need another string revolution

I’m not a quantum gravity theorist but I’m very much interested in this research & consider it to be an important problem in physics. Another approach to String Theory is Loop Quantum Gravity; pioneered by Lee Smolin, Carlo Rovelli, & others. Worth studying/looking into.

LGQ is theory of it's own right, independent of ST. It is another approach to tackling Quantum Gravity, but I do agree that all approaches are worth looking at.

Yeh but neither has anything else, but at least mathematically ST has come the closest and has led to some insights in pure mathematics too. It may not be the right answer, but we should look at all approaches until we do.

Adding
@usmankayaniphd because I need some stringy representation on my TL
If only to know what I'm up against, if I make it, against all probability.

this is where string theory really shineshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkaXJKL38BI …
