You're right. How much do you think that Coriolis effect would affect the oscillation? I should try to work out the math.
depends on where you're standing. the closer you are to the equator the faster it will hit a wall

My very old souvenirs was that Coriolis force would not provide any "work", should not affect speed (in a well oiled tunnel). Could be wrong.
