What does it mean, physically, to "constantly measure" a quantum system?
like i said it was a heuristic example. If you want a precise definition, it just means to keep the particle in a position eigenstate.

I'm not interested in an abstract definition, but the physical process involved in such a definition. Based on your example, I understand the process to be one in which system and measuring device/field are coupled via some interaction w specific properties. Do you agree?
