it's less about the specific document class and more that at least I haven't trained my mind to think in terms of document classes (or, honestly, in terms of code structure generally, and I have a weird lingering subconscious resistance to code-thinking from my freshman days)

it's worth the time sink. i recently started doing all my notes in a big LaTeX notebook. some stuff gets done on paper, but any algebra worth keeping gets TeXed up for posterity. it's accessible on any device, and my work is now more organized (and much more legible) than ever
