By the time you get to the moon orbit you will have lost velocity. No way will you hit with earth escape velocity unless you start much, much faster. You've got to be more precise!

The velocity for an intended lunar orbital insertion trajectory from Earth (assuming you don’t actually want to shoot it) depends on how quickly you want to get there because lunar orbital velocity is less than Earth escape velocity...this is going to take too many tweets.
