𝑇₀: thickness of paper
𝑇(𝑛): thickness after 𝑛 folds
𝑇(102): the size of the OBSERVABLE UNIVERSE
That is, after folding paper 102 times its thickness will exceed the size of the observable universe.pic.twitter.com/ARd7j3N46A

I've not tried, but you're suggesting a piece of paper must be longer than the observable universe to fold it 4 times?
No, the width is a function of the number of folds
It is Saturday night who has time for pedantry
I love that you argue with yourself over paper folding in order to include people who will do the "well actually..."
Pedant isn't a bad thing!
I take a strip of paper 103cm long: every centimeter, I fold it in the opposite direction to the previous fold - the first fold is randomly oriented. ???
On a more practical level, it is what makes the mille-feuille possible. Yum.
There's also an issue with time I guess. Once I laid down said sheet, I had to start intergalactic travel and have not finished yet my first fold
