The observer causes the field of possibilities to collapse and hence matter, and hence particle.
The only thing that (possibly) collapses is the wave function, not a “field of possibility” or “Matter”.. this sounds like @DeepakChopra woowoo

Ah, yes, nature can't exist beyond maths. I hope you understand that wave function is an abstracted form, it's like a map, not the territory. How do you talk particle and no matter?
