      There's evaluation, judgement, and word games. If "weird" is given a negative evaluation then it's assignment is judgmental. But creativity correlates with weird and often negates established value and intellectual investment. So we enjoy our role and fuck the rest.

      Weird is also relative. As grad students we joked about "normal intelligent" life out in the world. As an applied physicist, outside academia, I experienced the inversion. The, sometimes hysterical, laughter and befuddlement at my "normal" is genuine. I've accepted it.

      A person in your position with your combination of interests and proclivities thinking they aren't weird is funny as hell. I would wish you an interesting journey but it's totally unnecessary. Assuming that you will keep us all up to date, I will enjoy following you immensely.
