I really think she (@AmandaGefter) had a wonderful insight in this.
Therefore, the question of what is real is now an experimental question. Should we feel it suitable to redefine “real” it should be a refinement of this definition full stop.

rather than redefine it, i’m wondering about how we come to our definition of what is (real). surely, we investigate things experimentally, but philosophically, “what is (real)?”

My conclusion is that the question is meaningless unless it’s rooted in some sort of equivalence relation on observers
