I’m not too concerned with their being insane, though your priors for someone’s competence in any domain should likely be strong conditioned on their considering themselves a “free thinker.”

Sure, Claire fares worse than most, but the heuristic that gives us this result for seriously using “free thinker” should prove pretty successful.

Maybe you’re “on another plane” where linear logic is not a necessity, but in order to convince others, it is. You need to present a cogent argument to be taken seriously. Sorry but, until Woo like this discovers something new it will always, to me, be just that.
