Sorry to ask such an elementary question, what do the unlabelled vertical lines do?
They're ts too - it's a loop.
So the ‘detection’ then of the Higgs is the detection of the 2 photons? Would they need to be at a specific frequency?...I also vaguely remember from undergrad that the detectors might measure trajectories; is it on this that the inference of the Higgs is based?
