@Deepneuron Unruh radiation. Is this possibly why UFOs glow? Not a result of the power source? Anyone want to compute the curvature of spacetime given the frequency of light from the objects?
The Unruh radiation is an effect that happens to the accelerating observer. An inertial observer wouldn't see the glowing.

Sorry, I don't remember my Davies too well. Could the transformation of the EM field from the UFO ref frame to our ref frame be one that is similar to a transformation of an accelerated frame? Similar to how it's treated in cosmological inflation? Is that Hawking radiation?
