Yeah but the thing on the right is so obvious if you know it. All these sums are miraculous though. Or are they? When I can talk about my day job someday you’ll see that I’m obsessed with all this. Until then I’ll stay annoying.

Yeah but I’ve got a year of staring at weird sums for my project. I have to say it’s super enjoyable. And if I could take Gradshteyn and Ryzhik out for a beer I would. Hell I’d buy them dinner.

Do you know the story of those guys? It’s like then end of Rogue One with the Death Star plans. Gradshteyn starts the project, is killed in the war, Ryzhik takes over, dies, and a third set of authors finally completes and publishes it, naming it in their honor...
