If you add c=-1/(n+1) as a constant of integration, you get a log x in the n —> -1 limit

It works.. but is there a uniqueness? Since we could have said C=n, for example

It you require as a boundary condition that I is finite for all finite values of n, then the only possible choice is C=-1/(n+1).
