Ehrenfest's Theorem is an application of the Heisenberg Equation of Motion. 👉It's what tells us that Newton's Laws are recovered at the classical level 👉It is the "bridge" between the classical and the quantumpic.twitter.com/VgrKbyQgkh

In the last line I have written the momentum operator in the position basis, in which p = -iℏ∇.

One of his contributions. Ehrenfest was a very sharp mind and helped advance quantum mechanics (adiabatic hypothesis), Bose-Einstein statistics, and many critical observations about the nature of the electron (infinite self-energy). Too bad he had a low self-esteem though.

Actually isn't your working independent of the representation? Since the fact that [V(X), P] = i hbar Del(V)(X) is a straight up consequence of [X^n,P] = i hbar (n) x^(n-1) and V being analytic.
