Suppose you are traveling at a velocity v relative to me. If you say that a time Δτ has elapsed on your watch, then I will disagree and say that actually a longer time Δt>Δτ has passed, and hence that your watch is running slow.pic.twitter.com/fzP5WXPctq

To avoid confusing language used in composing the "twin paradox" we need words something like: You and I age by different amounts in traveling along our world line intervals between two flat parallel space-like simultaneities. Please feel free to patch up my spew here.

Hm.. well on my Minkowski diagram, my world line is just a vertical line of x=0, and somebody in relative motion will not have a parallel world line. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a parallel simultaneity
