Can nature divide by zero?

Apologies if this is stupid, but aren't numbers human constructs - an attempt to quantify / impose discontinuity on the continuous im order to measure? From a continuity perspective, "division by zero" is meaningless, or, rather, means "to do nothing to something"?

From a Maths perspective then, division by zero is the juncture where we need to set aside our pretension of chopping a continuous universe into discrete bits. From a physics/black hole persp., it may mean accepting that mass & size/space are not inter-related. What do you think?

On the 1st point, geometry (which does not introduce the discontinuous) seems to remain & on the 2nd pt, perhaps number-line based Maths belongs to the realm of questions about mass & energy (where we observe discontinuity) & for everything else, incl time, pure geometry only.
