Now here's the difference: you related it to attraction. I'm mostly speaking about compatibility, albeit with some snark. And by the way: I said *nothing* of gender. This goes for men *or* women. Have a nice night.
Clearly you were speaking about those which you were attracted to, as was I. I just think if we adopted this mentality to everyone who was initially disinterested in science, then we couldn’t be able to reach out to those who are nonscientists.

I didn't say I wasn't open to being someone interested in it. But if I fail there, I can love the person as a friend forever but I can't date them. That's just me

The term red flag is used in the context of a first encounter. Im unsure if I’m misunderstanding your point, but I’m merely trying to communicate to you how it could come off to nonscientists.
